Spay / Neuter clinic fixes 4000 pets!!

Duluth, Georgia, October 28, 2011 — Planned PEThood has reached the milestone of having helped over 4000 families fix their pets affordably.
Since September of 2010, Planned PEThood has been offering low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgeries in Duluth.  1,800 owned cats, 1,200 dogs and 1,000 feral cats have been fixed in just over one year!
“We’re so excited to have reached this milestone, knowing how many thousands of unwanted births have been prevented.  Lowering the number of accidental litters will result in fewer dogs and cats entering our overburdened shelters, says Lynette Purves, Co-Director of Planned PEThood.  “Our goal is to spay and neuter over 5,000 dogs and cats in our second year of operation.”

Planned PEThood’s veterinarians perform surgery Monday through Thursday by appointment and also offer low cost vaccination clinics on the first Saturday of each month.  For more information or to schedule your pet’s sterilization, call 678-561-FIX1(3491) or visit their website at www.PlannedPEThoodGA.com
Planned PEThood is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that relies on community support and grant funding to offer their affordable services.
